the Shemyakin Institute in Moskow to develop the glycopeptides GMDP (N-Acetyl-glucosaminyl-N-acetylmuramyl-L-Ala-
D-Isoglutamine), which was known as strong immunomodulator and anticancer
substancem a building block of vacterial cell walls. |
