While preparing this web site I came over several beautiful pictures that did not fit, but I simple did not have a heart to discard them. And here they come back! In this running word one needs a little break. I invite you for a virtual stroll over our beloved Kyoto and other picturesque parts of Japan. 	Breath-taking beauty: the red maple leaves in Japan are the highlights of autumn.		In July Kyoto comes under the spell of this fantastic festival.

	Byoudo-in is one of the most famous temples of Kyoto. Not only the 100-year-long history, but the appearance on the 10 JPY coin makes it a favorite.		The temple gardens in Kyoto are places of wonder. Art or nature? It is difficult to tell. You shall come and see!
